Dan Cox - Executive VP, GB Technologies / J&J Poured Floors

Founder and Co-owner of GBT, Mr. Cox has over 20 years experience in the business as an applicator. Mr. Cox started his  20 year career in Construction, Drywall, Plastering, and Gypsum Floors in Oregon.  In 1984 he started using product from Maxxon Corporation and went on to become the Northwest Applicator of the Year in 1985.  Shortly thereafter, Mr. Cox relocated in Georgia continuing his work in the industry.  He formed J&J Poured Floor Systems in 1997 where his company specialized and excelled in the application of the Ortecrete brand of gypsum.  He is co-inventor of the proprietary alpha-gypsum process. (Mr. Cox’s co-inventor is Robert B. Bruce, Ph.D., Owner, Innogyps, a leading industry consulting firm).  Mr. Cox attended the University of Oregon where he majored in Accounting.

Robert Bruce, Ph.D. - Innogyps Consultant-Acting Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Bruce is a leading world authority in gypsum manufacturing and utilization. He is a co-inventor of the GBT gypsum process technology and has extensive experience in the Gypsum Industry. He has held senior positions in the Industry in North America and Europe, and worked with clients from around the world. His over twenty five years of experience cover all aspects of Gypsum Technology, Manufacturing and Business Development. Throughout the years, a worldwide network of contacts has been developed that can be used to quickly take concept through to commercial success.  Dr. Bruce also manages his consulting practice, Innogyps, a leading industry consulting firm.

Charles Blow - Innogyps Consultant-Acting Director, Chemistry and Formulations

A 30-year veteran of a leading international gypsum manufacturing company.  Experienced in plaster manufacture, including process development, production management, powder handling, calcination processes, screening, grinding, mixing and packaging.  Mr. Blow earned his BS. Chem. Eng. and Masters Automation and Process Control at the University of Bradford.

Scott Taper - Commercialization Consultant, TechComm / Emanus LLC

Mr. Taper brings over 30 years of experience in the management and commercialization of technology-based products and services.  As a seasoned professional, he has broad-based experience in technology commercialization including Business Development and Licensing while employed at General Electric, Lockheed, EPRI, University of California, SRI International, and Kyocera Corporation.  Mr. Taper is directly responsible for the spin-out of 6 companies and $140,000,000 in revenue from fees, royalties, and contracts.  He is recognized by his peers as possessing extreme proficiency in negotiations and strategic marketing planning and implementation, including developing legal cases related to large patent infringement suits.  Mr. Taper earned his BS in Engineering at University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Marketing and Quantitative Analysis at Santa Clara University.  He is a 15 year member of the Licensing Executive Society.

Wil Jacques - Marketing / Strategy Consultant, TechComm / Emanus LLC

Mr. Jacques has over 20 years of sales, marketing, and technology management experience in government, industrial, consumer, and private sector organizations.  He brings specific knowledge and skill sets in strategic marketing development, personnel and project management, invention disclosure management, patent and technology analysis, and technology commercialization planning and implementation.  Before forming Emanus, Mr. Jacques was Vice President of Marketing and Technology Commercialization for Competitive Technologies, Inc., an AMEX listed public technology transfer firm in Fairfield, Connecticut. Mr. Jacques had direct responsibility for management and revenue generation from client patent portfolios valued at approximately $150 million. Mr. Jacques earned his B.S. Mechanical Engineering at Howard University and an MBA at American University.  He is also a USPTO Registered Patent Agent (Reg. No. 53,062) and a member of the Licensing Executives Society and the Association of University Technology Managers.  He is the Past Chair of the LES Chapter in Fairfield, CT.
